Thank you for applying to the 2017 STAR Program!

Please note: Applications close at midnight on January 30, 2017 (PST). We'll send your reference an email with submission instructions, but we will NOT send reminders as the deadline approaches. Please follow up to make sure they submit your recommendation in a timely manner. You may need to check with him or her to make sure that the STAR Request email isn't misdirected to their spam folder. This message will come from star@calpoly.edu and have STAR in the subject line.

Review of applications begins immediately. We'll let you know whether you've advanced to the next phase of the application within a month of submission and/or within 3 weeks after applications close. You may be contacted by lab sites between December 2016 and April 2017. Final placements will be announced by late April. The 2017 STAR Program runs from June 12 to August 11, 2017.

You will receive a submission confirmation email shortly. This email will include the above information. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please contact us at star@calpoly.edu as we will not have received your completed submission.
