Breaking the Stereotype: Rethinking Homelessness

1. The House of St Barnabas is a luxurious London private members club that aims to break the cycle of homelessness.

Anyone that’s facing homelessness or social exclusion can apply to the house. If accepted they work in the private members club for 12 weeks learning skills in either hospitality or business and administration. Alongside this, they attend activities like CV workshops and interview technique classes in the training room. They then graduate with an NVQ and hopefully go on to find a job.

The relatively new scheme is ultimately trying to get people off the streets.
