Schools that can get families more engaged find that their students earn higher grad
es, score higher on tests, develop better social skills, and are more likely to graduate. Family involvement is key to improving students’ academic and social outcomes, as well as improving school climate as a whole. Vernon Township School District would like to better understand the level of family involvement in the Vernon Community. VTSD will examine the results of the survey in order to plan ways to better involve families in the future.
