Benefits Outreach Partner Agency Application

Benefits Outreach Application Overview

Dear Prospective Agency,

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Benefits Outreach partner agency with the Palm Beach County Food Bank (PBCFB)!  PBCFB’s Benefits Outreach program is a partnership with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) to help clients apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, more commonly known as food stamps).  Operating under a waiver from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the program enables a trained PBCFB employee to conduct the food stamp interview, which is typically only completed by a DCF employee.

Our Benefits Specialists are co-located at partner agencies in the community and work directly with clients of these agencies to assist in the application process, conduct the food stamp interview, and ensure that all documents and needed information is sent to DCF.  We are able to streamlines the process and remove some of the barriers that can delay or prevent cases from being approved.

This application must be completed and signed by your agency's director to be considered as a Benefits Outreach partner agency.  Applications will not be considered complete unless all paperwork is submitted with the application and site requirements are able to be met.  When all paperwork has been submitted, we will review your application, and if your agency meets the criteria, you will be contacted with next steps to become a Benefits Outreach partner agency.

Thank you,
