Welcome to the 2017 AAPM&R Residency Fair Registration!

The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) would like to invite you to participate in this year’s PM&R Residency Fair, which will take place during the 2017 Annual Assembly on Saturday, October 14th from 1 pm – 3 pm at the Colorado Convention Center.

The Residency Fair is part of AAPM&R’s annual “Understanding PM&R” Medical Student Program, allowing for face-to-face time between program directors (and/or representatives of each individual program) and medical students who are interested in PM&R. It introduces medical students to the specialty and what it means to be a physiatrist, and is a great opportunity to promote your program.

AAPM&R has presented this free program for medical students at the Annual Assembly for the past eight years, representing PM&R residencies from all over the country.  Last year, over 120 medical students attended, the overwhelming majority providing very positive feedback on the program.  We are hopeful that this event will continue encouraging the best and the brightest students to consider a career in our specialty.

Gain added recognition for your program and your institution at the Residency Fair with special signage and placement, throughout the Annual Assembly and year, by participating in the AAPM&R Institution Partners Council (IPC).  Join the growing list of participants, including Kindred Hospital Rehabilitation Services, Loma Linda University, MedStar NRH, Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone, Spaulding, Shepherd Center, SIMED, University of Colorado, University of Louisville, and UT Southwestern Medical Center in this valuable program.  Learn more about the IPC here and be part of transforming the focus of health care to value function while receiving great recognition and discounts.
