The Organizing Committee of the Focus Program on Multi-scale Modelling of Wave Structures in Tissues  (the "Program") invites merit-based funding applications to attend Program workshops and/or for short-term visits at any point during the program.

Application Process
Applications submitted by the June 15, 2017 target date will be given first priority. Support / funds are limited.

Eligibility Requirements

• Faculty, researchers, postdoctoral fellows or graduate students may apply.  

Requests for Support
Request for support can cover one or all of the following:

• Funding support
  • one economy round trip fare to and from Toronto.
  • local expenses (accommodation and per diem).
    The maximum per diem is $55. Accommodations can be reimbursed up to a maximum of $200 per night to a maximum of $2,400 per month). Amounts are in Canadian Dollars.
• Possible use of semi-private office space/shared desk space at the Fields Institute. This resource will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis to non-GTA visitors staying two weeks or longer. 

• Statement of interest (text box, below, 500 characters maximum),
• Type of support being requested, and, if applying for funding support, a proposed budget, and
• Resume / curriculum vitae (PDF format, 2MB maximum); please have it ready for submission with this form.

Conditions of Award
Award recipients are expected to actively participate in all Program activities and workshops during their visit.
