Brookings Bicycle Master Plan

Welcome
The Draft Brookings Bicycle Master Plan was developed after approximately 1,000 community member interactions in September 2016. Your input today will inform the final contents of the plan. We want to know your opinion!

The survey should take 5 to 15 minutes to complete and will be available through Sunday, February 5, 2017.
1. What are your opinions on the 2040 Bikeway Network?

The 2040 Bikeway Network is a map of the planned bicycle network for Brookings. This is where shared-use paths, standard bicycle lanes, and residential-street bicycle boulevards are being considered over the next 23 years.

You can learn more about the bicycle facility types on the map below in Appendix B: Design Guidelines

Overall, do you think the 2040 Network addresses safety, comfort, and connectivity for bicycling? (We will ask you about specific roads next).

3. Please comment on a specific facility:
We have more information about what certain bicycle facilities might mean for each street in the 2040 Bicycle Network (i.e. Would parking need to be removed? When would it be built?). Refer to Appendix C: Implementation of the 2040 Bikeway Network and Chapter 6: Funding and Implementation for further details.

Leave your comments and questions about specific facilities here. If we missed a street where you would like to see a bicycle facility, you can also tell us about it here:

If you’d like to read more about each of these programs and policies before prioritizing, please visit Chapter 4: Policies and Programs.
