Natural Products Expo West & Engredea 2017 Sustainable Exhibitor Guidelines

Thank you for prioritizing sustainability at Natural Products Expo West and Engredea 2017

Each of the standards listed below are required to be recognized as an Sustainable Exhibitor as part of the New Hope Network Sustainability Program. Please check all of the following standards that your company meets. To find out more about the New Hope Network Sustainability Program, including some tips for being more sustainable, please visit our website.

1. Please select all of the standards that your company meets:

Staff Management: Train all booth staff on sustainable booth operations including: waste management, nightly shut-down plans, post-event donations, and the sustainable attributes of the booth.
Communication and Promotional Materials: No foamcore signage will be used.
Waste Management: Compostable and/or recyclable service ware will be used for all samples.
Waste Management: Commit to breaking down all cardboard boxes and stacking them for pick up by housekeeping staff.
Energy: All electronic equipment should be turned off or put to “sleep-mode” at the close of each night unless perishable goods are at risk.
Air Quality: Utilize SmartWay Transport company for shipping of booth materials to and from Expo.
Water: Bring reusable water bottles to refill at show while onsite.
Procurement and Booth Materials: Minimize packaging of all booth shipments and reuse exhibit crate(s) and pallets for shipping booth back.
Procurement and Booth Materials: Eliminate polystyrene (i.e. packing peanuts, #6 or foam plastic) from booth shipping and operations.
Community Partners: Donate surplus samples (food and non-food) or other reusable materials for use, reuse, or re-purposing when those materials will not be reused by exhibitor.
