2. The district provides textbooks and learning materials to support student learning.
3. The students and staff are safe and the district is implementing the Safety plan.
4. The district is providing a high quality education for students by preparing students for a successful life, college and/or career.
5. The district values parents as important partners in their child’s education. Teachers actively seek parent input into decisions related to their child’s education.
6. Students look forward to attending to school most days.
7. The district effectively addresses attendance and absenteeism.
8. The staff has enough opportunities to take part in decisions made within the district.
9. Staff is invited to help plan, implement and evaluate instructional materials, strategies and programs (School Improvement/WASC…).
10. The Common Core State Standards are being implemented within the district to raise educational standards for all students (ELL, Sp. Ed., Gifted…) in all core subjects.
11. Teachers are providing resources and training to parents to strengthen student learning at home.
12. The English learner program is helping students learn English as quickly as possible.
13. The school where I work is clean, safe and in good repair.
