Certified CRS Instructors have the reputation of being the best in the business. Do you have what it takes to join this elite group? RRC is always seeking talented individuals to deliver CRS Courses and contribute to our educational catalog of content.

Certified CRS Instructors are key players in the Council’s mission to train and empower ethical, efficient and successful real estate professionals. By becoming a Certified CRS Instructor you gain increased visibility as an expert in the industry and access to an established network of teaching colleagues and resources. Instructors exudes business success, extensive real estate knowledge, excellent facilitation skills, and a passion for teaching and inspiring others.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MUST be a CRS Designee and REALTOR® in good standing
  • Commitment to education and track record of continuing self-improvement 
  • Well-developed in-person and online teaching presence
  • Experience delivering at least 150 hours of paid instruction outside your local association
  • At least 4-5 years as a licensed agent with current, active engagement in the residential real estate industry and demonstrated business success
  • All instructors MUST be active agents or brokers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
  • Agents should have completed a minimum of 60 residential transactions or reached $30 million in volume over the most recent/last three years. Managing brokers should have directly overseen a minimum of 120 closed real estate transactions or have directly overseen $60 million in closed residential transactions over the most recent/last three years. A signed affidavit of these transactions will be required.

PRECERTIFICATION WORKSHOP AND AUDITION

Once your application form is received and reviewed, qualified applicants will be invited to attend the next scheduled one day CRS Instructor Pre-Certification Workshop, which is followed the next day by the opportunity to present a 15-minute audition piece of select CRS Course material before a panel of CRS  and RRC professionals.

Note, attendance at the Workshop and Audition is REQUIRED to move forward in the process. Additional details about the dates,  location, and lodging options will be shared with invited candidates when the next event is scheduled. Candidates are responsible for their own travel expenditures.

From there, individuals selected will be provided an opportunity to audit CRS Course(s) followed by a chance to co-teach, then teach solo for review. Upon a successful review the applicant is presented to the RRC Board of Directors for consideration. Please note that Instructor Candidates are NOT compensated for teaching time or reimbursed for expenses during the instructor certification consideration process.
