Global Health Day - Abstract Submission

Poster Session Details & FAQ

Call for Poster Abstracts!

Global Health Day is an exciting opportunity to learn about emerging topics in global health at Northwestern, explore the breadth and depth of current research in Chicago and around the world, network with colleagues, and celebrate the launch of the Institute for Global Health.

Internal and external students, faculty, community members and partners from all disciplines are welcome to attend and apply to present posters on projects relevant to global health. However, travel funding is not available to support accepted abstracts.

Student presenters who choose to work in groups should only submit one abstract per group. If you have a mentor, obtaining his/her guidance early in the abstract preparation process is highly encouraged.

The deadline to submit abstracts is Tuesday, October 15th. Applicants will be notified of the selection committee's decision by Friday, October 25th. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words.

Presenters, or a representative, must be available to present at the Global Health Day Poster Session on Friday, December 6th, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Poster set-up to occur in the morning, between 8:00 am - 9:00 am. Find more details about Global Health Day here.

On the following page you will be prompted to submit details about yourself and your co-authors (if applicable), as well as enter your abstract.
