ABOUT MIUSA:
Mobility International USA (MIUSA) is a U.S.-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with disabilities around the world to achieve their human rights through international exchange and international development. ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Mobility International USA (MIUSA) will conduct an intensive, two-day training (including overnight stay at a retreat center) for women with disabilities, aged 18-26 from the San Francisco Bay Area. Participants will also develop knowledge of opportunities and resources for international experience as a strategy for reaching educational and employment goals and achieving economic success. Following the training, graduates will multiply the impact of the workshop by conducting a two-hour session for other girls and women (with and without disabilities) in their communities. MIUSA will provide small stipends to support these activities.
