RACV’s major community partner is Phillip Island Nature Parks. The five year partnership supports the construction of a world-class immersive penguin viewing facility called Penguins Plus and provides an extensive range of member benefits including discounted ticketing, volunteering opportunities and an annual Churchill Island ‘Members Day’.
The next RACV member volunteering day will be held on Saturday 6 May on Phillip Island. Up to 200 RACV members will have the opportunity to volunteer for the day (between 10am-2pm). The volunteering day will assist Phillip Island Nature Parks in completing a significant amount of environmental conservation work.

Items to note:
- All volunteers will receive an RACV cap, gardening gloves and PINP will provide all relevant equipment to the volunteer for the activity
- Lunch and light refreshments will be provided
- Transportation to Phillip Island is not included
- The volunteering opportunity includes physical activity such as planting, weeding and walking up and down steps and a reasonable level of fitness is required
- Children are more than welcome but only if they are able to participate in the volunteer opportunity. As a guide this activity is probably not suited to children under 10 years of age
