ADVOCACY TRAINING - 4/21
As a prelude to the march, APA is offering advocacy training on Friday, April 21, noon to 1:30 p.m.EDT, at its Washington, D.C., headquarters. The training session, "Beyond the March: Advocating for Psychological Science," will focus on how to communicate effectively with policymakers about the importance of psychological research and evidence-based policy. The session will also be livestreamed to enable psychologists and graduate students nationwide to participate (http://www.apa.org/about/gr/science/march-for-science.aspx). MARCH WITH APA! - 4/22
APA will be meeting in front of the mall-side (south) entrance to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History between 9am and 2pm, Saturday, April 22nd. Come gather together and pick up signs, stickers, and buttons. APA staff will be wearing blue "I'm PSYCHed for SCIENCE" t-shirts.
