OpenRisk Survey on End-User Needs

Information for Participants

About the Study:

Thank you for agreeing to take part in this crucial study!

This study is a part of the OpenRisk Project. OpenRisk is a two year EU project focussing on methods for maritime risk assessments, with a particular focus on accidental spills. The Project will take the first steps on developing a joint and fully open method toolbox for risk assessments of spills resulting from maritime accidents. OPENRISK is co-financed by the EU – Civil Protection Financial Instrument as project 2016/PREV/26 which runs from January 2017 to December 2018.

By participating in this study, you will be helping to make the foreseen main output of the OpenRisk project – a draft toolbox of open risk assessment methods for pollution prevention and response (PPR) planning – answer to the concrete needs of the regional PPR organisations (HELCOM and similar organizations) and national/EU authorities in the Baltic Sea, Europe and hopefully world-wide.

The results of this study will be presented in a dedicated project deliverable, final project report as well as other research output. __________________________________________________________________
