The purpose of this study is to explore how prevalent child to parent violence and abuse is in the United Kingdom (UK) general population. It also seeks to explore how parent gender and history of intimate partner violence are associated with this experience.

The Men’s Advice Line is a confidential helpline for men experiencing domestic violence from a partner or ex-partner, or from other family members. The helpline provides emotional support, practical advice, and can signpost callers to other services for specialist help. Victim Support (0808 168 9111): Open weeknights 8pm – 8am, and weekends (24 hours)

The Victim Supportline offers support to anyone affected by crime. They are independent from the police, and you don’t need to have reported a crime to the police to get their help. Their website is https://www.victimsupport.org.uk/.

National Association for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC) (0808 801 0331): Open 10am – 9pm, Monday to Thursday, and 10am – 6pm, Friday
