Hip Hop in the Heartland 2017 Teacher application

Hip Hop in the Heartland is a unique conference designed for teachers to gain a better understanding of the scope of hip hop history, culture, and politics. Deepen your practice as a spoken word and hip hop educator, and engage in best practice approaches to student-centered liberatory education models.

When: July 10-14 (Official Conference) July 15th (WPT Education workshop)
Where: Madison, WI
Find a colleague to apply with! These scholarships will be awarded in pairs, with a preference for cohorts of teachers that include one music or fine arts teacher.
Join WPT Education at the end of the conference to extend your learning and collaborate on materials that will serve educators throughout the state
