The housing department of Grace College will do its best to match roommates appropriately. Although roommates will be matched because of shared attitudes from this small sampling of questions, neither one should expect that they will both agree totally in all areas. Therefore, it is important for roommates to discuss not only their similarities, but differences as well.
To request a specific roommate, each student needs to list each other for the request to be considered. No phone calls will be accepted. Requests submitted by June 1 will be given fullest consideration for the fall semester. Initial roommate announcements will be communicated to new fall semester students via your Grace email in July. Spring enrollees should submit this form by December 1, but please note that housing availability is limited in the spring semester. Assignments will be made during Christmas break for the Spring semester and communicated via e-mail.
Our first priority in arranging your housing is to connect you to a compatible roommate. We do not guarantee that you will be assigned to the residence hall of your choice, but we do want to make sure to accommodate your special circumstances (i.e. allergies that require air-conditioning, unable to climb stairs, etc)
