This form is for individuals who fall
OUTSIDE the training populations described in items A-C below. Individuals described in items A-C should complete their training registration using
E-Track (the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program's online Learning Management System).
Training offered by SWORTC is intended for the following individuals:
A. Public Child Serving Agency (PCSA) Caseworkers, Supervisors, and Foster/Adoption Assessors (OAC Rule 5101: 2-33-55, OAC 5101: 2-33-56, 5101:2-48-06)).
B. Individuals employed with or under contract with a private or outside agency (i.e. court) conducting home studies who require mandated Foster/Adoption Assessor training, Adoption Assessor Refresher training, and ongoing bi-annual foster/adoption-related training (OAC Rule 5101:2-48-06)
C. Although non-mandated, other PCSA staff who work in a social services capacity (Case/Social Service Aides, Social Work Assistants, Visitation/Transportation Aides, Group Home staff).
Outside (guest) registrations are accepted on a space-available basis. Only those individuals who work in a collaborative setting with child welfare (e.g., courts, hospital, law enforcement, mental health, substance abuse) or who previously worked in child welfare will be considered for acceptance into training.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU ARE NOT OFFICIALLY REGISTERED UNTIL YOU RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION FROM SWORTC. You will receive an email confirmation within one week prior to the training.
