Intervener Training Pilot Project: State Application

The Intervener Training Pilot Project has been developed to function as a joint effort between NCDB and state deaf-blind projects to train interveners. By completing this application, you are indicating your desire to recruit candidates, provide support (e.g., coaching, mentoring) as they progress through the OHOA modules and National Intervener Certification E-Portfolio (NICE) process, and work with their local school or agency to provide technical assistance. NCDB will work with you as you participate in this project, providing support and assistance as needed.

6. Have you hosted or been involved in hosting modules for professional development or intervener training?

Briefly describe your experience with your last cohort. Who was your target audience? How many people started, and how many finished? Were you happy with the results? What challenges did you encounter?

What TA and types of activities (if any) did you provide to the participants in addition to hosting?
