Self Care in Treating Sexually Victimized Children: an International Perspective

The sexual victimization of children is a global issue that has many people worldwide working to advocate for children through many avenues such as prevention programs, counseling programs, social awareness, law enforcement, offender rehabilitation, and policy formation. The purpose of this study is to expand some of the current research on the affects that this kind of work has on helping individuals by expanding the scope to include the range of professions involved and the international setting to see how peoples self care activities impact their levels of stress.
