The Minnesota Department of Education - Food and Nutrition Service is offering a Farm to School workshop on Thursday October 19, 2017 at two locations Rochester and Sartell. The workshop will run from 8:00 a.m. to noon and is recommended for school food service directors and managers. Topics include Farm to School Basics, Fundamentals of Local Procurement and Farm to School Food Safety Issues.
The workshop will be presented using a blended learning model with content presented via webinar and a local facilitator to guide discussion and learning activities. Registration is limited to 25 participants at each location.
