Thank you for your interest in the Gallery Social Media Manager work/study position!
The purpose of this position is to create and implement a social media outreach plan for the District Clay Gallery (DCG). This should include the DCG website, instagram and twitter pages and any other social media platforms that would be helpful. You will also be integrating these efforts with the District Clay Center social media platforms. You will work with our Social Media Director Melissa Chen to coordinate your efforts and as well as myself.
This position is for someone who loves working on social media and social media marketing, has experience in boosting products or websites using social media, likes to work independently and would enjoy launching a our new ceramic gallery into the social media stratosphere!
This is either a half time (approx. two hours a week) or full time (4 hours a week) position. As an example of compensation, a half time position cuts either 10 week student fees or community artist fees in half while a full time position eliminates them. You also will get a 30 percent discount on any gallery ware of your choice. You can also potentially earn money if a particular exhibition you are working on makes money.
