This survey asks your opinions regarding short term rentals (STR) in Yellowknife. Responses to this survey, along with input from public meetings, will be used by the City to make proposals on whether and how to manage STRs in Yellowknife through licensing and by-laws.
The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete. At the end of this survey, you will be able to send an email to the City asking to be put on the mailing list for updates on this issue. Your name will NOT be linked to your survey responses. Survey responses will be grouped together and the responses of any individual respondent will remain confidential.
For the purpose of this survey, short term rentals refer to accommodation in someone’s home, for a stay of less than 30 days, and that is marketed through the internet (for example through a platform such as Airbnb or VRBO, among others).
