Downtown St. Louis Public Art Survey

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey about Public Art in Downtown St. Louis!

Public art is important to the vitality of many cities throughout the country, including St. Louis – taking a range of forms that include murals, sculptures, artist-designed infrastructure and public spaces, and even artist-designed events.

The Regional Arts Commission (RAC), in collaboration with Downtown St. Louis, Inc. and Explore St. Louis is in the process of developing a Downtown Public Art Plan. This plan will outline a vision and goals for public art Downtown, identify key opportunities for projects and initiatives, provide a framework for identifying the resources needed, and define procedures for decision-making and oversight.

The Downtown Public Art Plan is a major parallel component of the region-wide cultural planning project being spearheaded by RAC --  EVOKE: An Exploration of Creativity and Community.

You can help us shape the future of public art in Downtown by answering the questions below. It should only take about ten minutes to complete, and your responses will be anonymous.
