Dear President Trump, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan,
Jerusalem rightfully belongs to the nation of Israel as its capital city.
But the U.S. does not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Instead, America has remained complicit with the United Nations, which is determined to undermine the existence and independence of Israel. The UN has even forcibly removed all foreign embassies from Jerusalem, refusing to acknowledge their authority.
As Israel’s ally, we must take a stand against this massive injustice by the UN.
To do otherwise would be morally bankrupt.
I’m asking President Trump, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem—to declare to the UN and to the world: Jerusalem will not become a part of the Palestinian state.
Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and I will support and stand by them.
