This assessment helps you understand your abilities in ten key product management competency areas, covering the 'hard' and 'soft' skills that make successful product managers in Agile software environments. The assessment does
not assess your understanding of Agile software development methods (Scrum, XP, etc.)
The scope of this assessment includes only product management activities, assuming that you are working with someone else in the Product Owner role. If you'd like to test your Product Owner abilities, check out
this companion assessment.
You may find that the assessment includes areas that aren't currently part of your job description. The assessment is designed to help you manage your overall career, which may include these areas in the future. Use the results to help you advance in your career, through self-study, on-line, or in-person training programs.
The assessment consists of a series of questions that you answer about your abilities. The results will be summarized on a chart that profiles your strengths and opportunities. There are ten pages to this assessment, one page for each competency area; it will take about 10 minutes to complete.
You'll need to provide a valid email address in order to receive your results. Results are generally available within three business days.
