2. This year, we are pleased to offer to all participants a special preconference on leadership development, specifically focused on institutional decision making and governance. David Tiede, former president of Luther Seminary and Christensen Chair at Augsburg College, will lead the workshop. The workshop will include conversations around the big questions of shared governance and exercises to empower faculty to take an active role in leading their schools to their educationally effective and financially sustainable futures.
