You are cordially invited to participate in a briefing of the recently released National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) report A Decision Framework for Managing the Spirit Lake and Toutle River System at Mount St. Helens, to take place January 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Red Lion in Kelso, WA. Members of the NASEM study committee will share findings and answer questions about the report report.
The study was conducted by the NASEM at the request of the USFS. A prepublication version of that study has been released as has a 4-page report-in-brief and an informational video (see http://dels.nas.edu/Report/Decision-Framework-Managing/24874 for links and download information).
