GRP Capacity Building Grant Proposal Workshop

The Gulf Research Program is sponsoring a grant-writing and proposal development workshop for community-based organizations. As a past applicant to the GRP’s Capacity Building Grant competition, we would like to invite a representative from your organization to participate in the workshop. The workshop will be administered by the Grantsmanship Center. The GRP will cover the cost of attendance for all participants, and travel and lodging expenses for non-local participants. The workshop will be held June 6-8, 2018.

The goals of this workshop are to:

Provide training on how to write more effective grant proposals and increase your competitiveness in future opportunities offered by the Gulf Research Program and other funding organizations.
Provide hands-on experience with developing and reviewing mock grant proposals.
Serve as an opportunity to network with other community organizations and meet potential collaborators.
