2018 Admitted Student Summer Treks

This is a general application for the 2018 Admitted Student LGBTQ MBA treks which take place the in the summer of 2018. The treks are designed as a learning & networking opportunity for admitted lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer MBAs interested in specific industries. The experience allows attendees to better understand what options they might consider within the industry, meet other LGBTQ individuals admitted to MBA programs around the country, and network with LGBTQ MBA alumni and professionals.

This summer's schedule includes the following cities and industries:
New York City Finance Trek (June 18-19) - Accepting for Waitlist ONLY
Minneapolis Marketing & Retail Trek (June 21-22)
Boston Healthcare & Insurance Trek (July 9-10)
San Francisco Technology & Retail Trek (July 12-13) - Accepting for Waitlist ONLY
Seattle Technology & Retail Trek (July 16-17) - Accepting for Waitlist ONLY
Chicago Consulting & General Management Trek (July 19-20) - Accepting for Waitlist ONLY

20 spots will be made available and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis within rounds. We generally fill most treks by Round 2, if not earlier, and move to a waitlist for any additional applications.
Round 1 Deadline: March 15, 2018
Round 2 Deadline: April 12, 2018
Round 3 Deadline: May 10, 2018

Students will be responsible for their own travel; however, students may request limited support from Reaching Out's LGBTQ Student Fund if unable to otherwise attend.

10. Which trek(s) are you applying for? You can check as many as you like, but know that due to demand most people are offered 1-2 treks at most. You will be able to state your preference in the next box. *This question is required.
12. If accepted, would you like to be placed on our room sharing list to find a potential roommate? This information will be shared only with other attendees also looking for a roommate. *This question is required.
