Skip the Straw Event

DEP launched the Skip the Straw initiative to encourage Florida residents and visitors to think about straws before they take one or toss one. Recycling, reducing the use of single-use plastics, and cleanup efforts will help eliminate trash that litters beaches, pollutes oceans and harms wildlife and coral reefs.
