Moreland's Integrated Transport Strategy

The Draft Moreland Integrated Transport Strategy
Moreland City Council is preparing a new integrated transport strategy to guide decision making for the next decade, replacing the current strategy from 2010. A key aim of this strategy is increasing the number of trips made by walking, cycling and public transport.
Following consultation with the community and other stakeholders in December 2017 and February-March 2018, we have developed a Draft Moreland Integrated Transport Strategy (MITS).

You can find the Draft MITS, fact sheets and more information on council's website.

This survey is part of the final period of consultation before Council adopts the new MITS early next year. We are interested in your feedback on the draft strategy, including whether it has addressed all the key transport issues for Moreland.

In this survey, potential actions are broken into nine themes (e.g. cycling, sustainability, traffic), and you can provide feedback on as many or few of these themes as you like.

Council is also having a hearing of submissions on Wednesday 19 September at the Council Chambers (90 Bell Street, Coburg) from 6pm. You can register to speak at this hearing at the end of this survey.

Moreland's Draft Parking Strategy
We have also developed a Draft Parking Strategy which provides further detail on how the actions in the Draft MITS related to parking would be implemented. This draft strategy aims to slow the growth of cars in Moreland’s busiest areas and protect the ability of existing residents to park on-street as our population grows.

You can find the Draft Parking Strategy, fact sheets, and an interactive map that shows how your area would be affected by proposed changes to parking on council's website.

This form also allows you provide feedback on the Draft Parking Strategy.
