You are being invited to participate in a research study to examine the new trends in online social gaming and how it differs from traditional gaming. I intent to research, through this questionnaire, how these games are being played and to examine what, if any, effect they have on players.This study is being conducted by Robert Harte for an MSc in Interactive Digital Media from the Department of Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin. The supervisor for this research paper is Sorcha O’Brien (sorchaobrien@gmail.com).
The questionnaire will take about 5 minutes to complete. The information collected may not benefit you directly, but the information learned in this study should provide more general benefits. This survey is completely anonymous. No one will be able to identify you or your answers, and no one will know whether or not you participated in the study. Your participation in this study is voluntary. By completing the following questionnaire, you are voluntarily agreeing to participate. You are free to decline to answer any particular question you do not wish to answer for any reason.
Participants should be over 18 years.
