Course Development Camp - January 2019

Are you teaching a new course or thinking about revising one you already teach? Join us for some hands-on working sessions where we will guide you through the elements of course design and revision with lots of time for you to actually build your course. This mosquito-free event, organized by the UMA Faculty Development Center, will be held indoors, but there will be s’mores and campfire stories!


Day 1: Build Your Course - January 7 (9a-3p)
flowchartThe first day of camp will provide an overview of the course design process, an introduction to Kaltura and Zoom, your course objectives and assessments planned, strategies for engaging your learners, and lots of great ideas from your colleagues. 



Day 2: Any Way You Want It - January 8 (9a-3p)
working togetherThis is a free day for you to schedule time one-on-one or in a small group with an Instructional Designer or eLearning Specialist. Bring your own to do list and questions, and we will help you develop your course or explore ideas.

Breakfast, lunch, and mileage reimbursement are included for all UMA attendees in January sessions! Registration closes on Friday January 4.
