At the last meeting of the AHA at Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois (summer of 2010) the membership voted to adopt a motion from the AHA Board stating "that 2012 [the Gathering at Gustavus Adolphus College, June 21-24, 2012] be the last traditional Gathering and…that the AHA Board explore ways to continue the mission of AHA."
Subsequent to that action, a Futures Committee was appointed by the President of the AHA. That committee wants to know your views concerning (1) the heritage of the Augustana Lutheran Church, (2) what the future shape of the AHA might take, and (3) how to promote the AHA in the years to come.
Please respond to the questions on the following pages, which are divided into those three areas.
