Dear participant,
thank you for choosing this task! By answering this survey you will take a scientific study on motivation in environments like designContest. Thereby, you help us to contribute to the evolvement of designContest and similar projects.
This survey consists of 5 pages:
1. On page 1, you will find some statements and you will have to rate what you think about them.
2. The following page contains some other statements you will have to rate.
3. Page 3 consists of a ranking, where you have to allocate 100 points to 5 categories.
4. On page 4, we will ask for some details about you. Please choose the answers that fit best.
5. The last page will give you the opportunity to give us some feedback. Please feel free to use the text area for comments!
After you finished reading these instructions it will take you between 5 and 10 minutes to answer all required questions of the survey.
When working on the survey you might feel that we ask the same questions multiple times. This is neither a mistake nor an attempt to annoy you but rather necessary out of scientific reasons.
With completing this survey you have the chance to win one of three amazon coupons (5 $, 10 $ and 25 $). Therefore you need to enter your email address on the last page so we can inform you about your win. Only surveys with entered email address take part in the lottery! The winners will be randomly chosen after the survey is closed.
At the end of this survey you can choose whether you want to get information about the results of this survey or not. If yes, please keep in mind that you enter your e-mail-address.
All data is handled anonymously and will be only used for this research.
Your email address is only used for sending you the coupon and (if wanted) for informing you about the results.
Thank you for participation!
