Novice Nurse Educator Competencies and Task Statements Survey 2020

Welcome to Novice Nurse Educator Competencies and Task Statements Survey

NLN currently has published competencies and task statements for the academic educator working in the full scope of the role of the nurse educator and for the clinical nurse educator, primarily working with student nurses in academic nursing educator programs. The discussion has ensued about the role of the novice nurse educator and what competencies, levels of the competencies, and task statements would apply to new nurse educators in academic settings. A Task Group was formed and has worked on these competencies and task statements, leveled at what is thought to be appropriate for the novice nurse educator.
