Community Input Forums for Workforce Plan

As required by the U.S. Department of Labor, the Southwestern Area Workforce Development Board will begin working on their Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act Local Plan and is collecting input from community members in the region (Catron County, Doña Ana County, Grant County, Hidalgo County, Luna County, Sierra County, Socorro County) to help identify objectives and strategies that will improve the workforce services offered to residents including but not limited to: employers, job seekers, youth (ages 14-24), dislocated workers (individuals who lost their job due to layoff), veterans, those with disabilities, foster care individuals, homeless individuals, K-12 students, migrant and seasonal farmworkers, ex-offenders.
