Our study deals with the identification of “Future ICT Trends on Assistive Technology and Accessibility”. It is funded by the European Commission, DG Information Society & Media, Unit ‘ICT for Inclusion’.
The questionnaire is divided into 3 core parts and aims:
- To explore the content of eAccessibility for today and the future as perceived by the survey participants.
- To identify potential user needs on eAccessibility solutions / technologies in the future (in 10 years timeframe), through existing technology, market and societal trends
- To further identify and pre-assess "drivers of change" i.e. trends or any other factors that may affect the future evolution of eAccessibility within a 10 year perspective
You are free to answer 1 or more of the parts below. We encourage you to answer only those questions for which you have sufficient knowledge/ understanding.
Based on the feedback collected and in line with the above objectives our team will measure/ assess:
(a) the level of agreement and common understanding of the content of eAccessibility between experts and stakeholders,
(b) to which possible directions eAccessibility may evolve in the future,
(c) the future user needs as perceived by different groups of eAccessibility stakeholders,
(d) the importance of different ICT developments for the future of eAccessibility,
(e) technology, market and societal trends affecting eAccessibility in the following 10 years and
(f) potential challenges, breakthroughs
