Food Secure Canada, a pan-Canada nonprofit organization where agriculture, environment, health, food and justice intersect, has been funded by the Rural Secretariat of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada to undertake this survey as part of a knowledge building project which will run from 2011 to 2013.
The overall goal of the project is to reduce hunger, help create a sustainable food system and provide healthy and safe food in remote and northern communities.
The goals of this survey are:
- To find out about you and your organization (if applicable)
- To learn how you want to be connected to the project
- To begin to learn what contacts, resources and knowledge you already have about remote or northern food security or local food
