1. Details of participation

Our names are Dr. Briony Pulford and Poonam Gill and we are from the School of Psychology, University of Leicester. This study should take about 4-5 minutes to complete. This study asks you to read a hypothetical scenario regarding a consumer purchasing situation. You will be asked to make ratings about how you would behave in this situation. There are no objectively right or wrong answers to these questions. Finally we will ask you a few questions about yourself (age, gender etc.). Your data will be anonymous and confidential and, if published, will not be identifiable as yours. You may withdraw from the research at any time by simply closing your web browser, without giving any reason, if you so wish. Clicking 'Next' indicates that you give your consent to participate and for your data to be stored and analysed by us.
