MA Creative Practice for Narrative Environment: Borg & Silva Final Project Research

This questionnaire is about your personal airline experiences.
We are looking to gather information about the individuals flying journey in economy class only. Feel free to answer elaborately when applicable.

1. On average, how often do you take an airplane per year?

4. How do you feel about the general idea of flying? Does it excite you? Do you hate it? Is it special/boring? Please explain your reasons.

5. What is your favorite airline? Why?

6. What are your criteria for choosing a flight? Price? Convenient departure & arrival times? A specific airline? Specific features available on flight (ie. known for having good food or entertainment systems or even baggage allowance)?

7. On the day of a flight, are there certain behaviors or routines you go through? Are there certain things you do before a flight?

8. Are there certain things you must bring for a flight? A certain item such as a pillow or sleeping pills, for example? Are these items only used when flying?

9. How long before a flight do you arrive at the airport? If you are an early bird, how do you kill time before boarding?

10. How do you feel about airplane food? Feel free to tell us a personal experience regarding this matter.

11. Do you ever pre-order meals? If so, which? And why?

12. Do you buy food at the airport? On the airplane? Do you ever bring your own? If so, what? And why?

13. If you can remember, what is the best food you ever had on a flight? And the worst?

14. In addition to the free food in economy class, would you be willing to pay for food considered of better quality / taste?

15. Over the years, what do you think is the greatest improvement in commercial flights? And what still needs improvement?
