INSANE ON A PLANE?

Thank you for opening this link and contemplating on doing our questionnaire. Please answer as much as you can - in as much detail as you wish.

1. Are you an active or passive flyer?

By this we are asking wether or not you actively participate in the whole flight experience (you're mostly awake, take all the food and drink given to you, you like to walk around, open and close your window, push all buttons, etc.). Or are you a more passive customer (you just want to get this over with, hopefully go to sleep, talk as little as possible and couldn't care less if the pilot tells you we are now flying at 39,000 feet).

Please identify yourself somewhere along those lines.

2. Before we fly we often have great expectations of what one might do during the flight. Some of us imagine we will finally get some work done, finish the book we are reading, while others just hope they will be able to sleep as long as they can.

What do you usually INTEND to do an a flight?

3. Is what you intend to do often different from the reality?

4. Is not being able to use your phone or check your emails during the flight a blessing or a burden? Would you prefer to be more connected with the ground or do you enjoy being unreachable?

5. Is there a type of music you listen to on flights more than you would normally on ground?

6. Do you generally (in the air or on the ground) listen to audiobooks? If so, how often? And what has been the best audiobook experience so far?

7. Are there any specific sounds, smells or tastes that you remember have really affected you during a flight in a positive way?

8. If there was a product that was designed to distract you and mentally transfer you to a different place through sound, smells and taste during a flight, would you think that would be awesome or lame?
