UNDP HIV and Development Practice Team in Asia Pacific in partnership with UNFPA, UNAIDS and the Asia Pacific Network of Sex Workers (APNSW) has commissioned a study on the Legal environments affecting HIV responses among sex workers in Asia and the Pacific.
The study identifes different laws and law enforcement practices and policies that are harmful or helpful to HIV responses among sex workers and the sex industry in Asia and the Pacific; and elaborates policy recommendations consistent with international guidelines on HIV/AIDS and human rights.
This short survey is for stakeholders of your country to provide inputs, feedback and comments to ensure that the country summaries in the study represent the current circumstances as understood by sex workers and those who work with sex work communities.
You should read your country chapter before answering the survey.
