Screen for Voting Project

Introduction

Greetings!

The Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA) has begun a study that examines the accessibility of voting for people with disabilities.  This is a project that will be ongoing over the next 3 years. If you've reached this link, you received an announcement - either from CATEA's Consumer Network directly, or from another friend or organization - regarding a "screening survey" with the intent categorizing reserach subjects for a preliminary set of interviews to be carried out before and after the November 2011 election.

The response has been overwhelming.  Clearly, this is an issue of meaning to many individuals, and we truly appreciate your responses and willingness to participate. We regret that we will be unable to contact each of you for the portion of the study done around November 2011.  However, we will be in need of individuals to participate in interviews and surveys throughout the course of the project.

If you are interested in participating in any ongoing portion of the study, please do answer the following questions.  As the study progresses, we will continue to contact individuals who've responded.  Answering the questions that follow does not obligate you to participate in any portion of the study that we may contact you about.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or questions.

Sincerely,

Maureen Linden
