A Compliance Assistance Site Visit (CASV) is an on-site visit from a Southwest District (SWD) Air Resource Management Section inspector. The purpose is to help you be aware of and to clarify current Federal and State air pollution laws. The inspector will tour your facility, review records and determine your facility's compliance with applicable regulations. As appropriate, the inspector will provide you guidance and technical assistance to correct environmental problems that are limited in scope. To correct compliance issues, the inspector will follow up within 30 days from the visit date to complete the evaluation of your facility. The follow up will include proposed solutions or corrective actions to bring your facility into compliance.
