Mothering Attitudes Survey

Informed Consent

My name is Kathryn and I am a student at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg Virginia. I am inviting you to participate in my research study, which is being sponsored by Drs. Liss and Schiffrin of the psychology department. Participation in this study is completely voluntary.

The purpose of this study is to learn more about the attitudes that mothers have about parenting.

If you choose to participate, you will complete a survey with questions on mothering behaviors and feelings. This should take approximately 15-20 minutes. All of your responses will remain anonymous. You do not have to participate in the study if you feel uncomfortable, and may end the survey at any time.

Your participation in this study is beneficial to our understanding of the experiences of mothers and how experiences of mothering relate to well-being. We do not anticipate that you will encounter any negative consequences as a result of your participation in this study.
