To explore contemporary music festivals and the creation of alternative identities

Information & Consent

For my undergraduate dissertation whilst studying BA (Hons) Events Management I am researching the reasons why people behave in the way they do at contemporary music festivals; subsequently creating new identities for themselves. I want to find out why people can attend a festival and be who they want to be, and feel 'free' for the limited period of time, i.e. the duration of the festival.

Your participation is voluntary, and the completion of this questionnaire implies consent to participate in the research. All information given will be confidential and anonymous.

Firstly, there are a couple of eliminatory questions regarding age and festival attendance as well as consent to participate in this research. 



The questionnaire should take around 15 minutes to complete.
