Program fees

Participants: $700. Program fees cover on-the-ground costs, including lodging, meals, program transportation, required educational materials, and the services of program leaders, before, during, and after the trip. Participants are responsible for covering the cost of their own airfare, transportation to program site, and health insurance.

Scholarships

The above program fees do not cover the full cost. We are able to price the program this way due to a generous subsidy from UUSC’s Bradburd Fund for Youth Education.

Fee information

A deposit of $200 is due two weeks after being accepted. If the deposit is not received by this date, your position on the trip will be forfeit and the slot given to another applicant.

Final payment for each participant is due two weeks before the start of the trip. If paying by check, make payable to "UUSC." A full refund will occur if the trip is canceled by UUSC.

No refunds of the deposit will be given after the deposit due date. If a participant opts out of a trip more than six weeks before a trip and has already paid the deposit, the deposit will be returned in full.

Acceptance notification

All applicants will be notified of their application decisions no later than March 1, 2012.
